These are a few of the great books around on leadership and coaching.
All books can be purchased on: www.amazon.com

A few that we would recommend include:

Coaching for Performance - John Whitmore (3rd Edition 2002)
A really good book to introduce you to the concept of coaching.
Explains the GROW model - a model used by many coaches at all levels;

The Inner Game of Work - Timothy Gallwey
This book is a follow on from the Inner Game of Tennis.
Gallwey was a professional tennis coach and has used his sporting knowledge to develop a corporate context. Some really interesting material about Self 1 and Self 2 - and how to cope with that little voice in your head.

The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People - Stephen R. Covey
This is a really good common sense book on how to solve both personal and professional problems. Suggests some basic principles that give us the security to adapt to change.

From Good to Great - Jim Collins
A research based book on what makes some organisations great. Has a good chapter on leadership (level 5 leadership) and tells the story of some great American success stories.

Conversations with God - Neale Donald Walsch
You need an open mind when you read this, but it really makes you think about life and the human race.
